She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Lomas and Connie Lomas; her husband James; and her siblings, Mavis Gillian Reynders and Kenneth Lomas.

She is survived by: her siblings, Antony and William Lomas; her children, Susan (Elliott), James (Belinda), Jennifer and Jonathan (Teresa); her nephew James (Gisele); her grandchildren, Stephanie (Darryl), Richard (Hannah), Michelle (Phillip), Charlotte, Justin, Dale (Katty) and Kathy (Mark); and her great grandchildren, Ethan, Mary, Lisa, Hera, Leetia and Santiago. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Elizabeth Fry Society of Mainland Nova Scotia and Margaret's House Dartmouth.
