It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Inez (Barr) Cannon of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 20, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Etta Barr (Boyd) and George Barr (Ted); her siblings, Shirley, Connie, Paul, Randy and Marilyn; her husband Charles "Buck" Cannon; her children, Joanne Oostveen (Robert) and Trevor Cannon; her grandchildren, Lauren (Andrew), Charlotte (Brett) and Janice; and her great grandchildren, Oscar, Everett and Caleb.
