She is survived by: her children, Marilyn McCarville and Lee Emery; her grandson Ryan McCarville (Samantha McCarville); her great grandchild Madison McCarville; her sister Lorraine Surette; and her granddaughter-in-law Samantha. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Home (771 Main St, Dartmouth, NS B2W3T9). A reception will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Joan's memory.
