With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Marion Lucas of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 22, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Tynes and Ada Tynes of Dartmouth; her husband Arnold Lucas; and her siblings, Josephine, Maxine, Douglas, Charles (Pete) and Timothy (Tim).

She is survived by: her sons, Joe, Randy, Danny and Peter; and her siblings, David, Andrew (Bubba), Margaret, Lynda (Sissy), Patsy and Dianne. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
