He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Leonard-Cole and Arthur Mercen MacKenzie; and his siblings, Owen, Muriel Monk and Annie Conrad.
He is survived by: his wife Cecile; his children, Agnes Legere (late Chester), John Arthur, Jack, Wesley (Susan), Joe (Patti), Halfway Brook, Brian (Joanne), Blaine Eastern Passage (Bev) and Alana Froese (Elliott) of Abbotsford, BC; and his stepchildren, Clare MacLean (Leon), Rose Anne Goodine (Bill) of Woodstock, NB, Frances Penney (Frank), Sydney, Jacquie Finney (Ken), Beaumonville, Angela Deagle (Kevin), Corinne Keeling (Rick) and Edmonton. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gay's River Cemetery Fund, the Parkinson's Society, or a charity of choice.
