We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2021, at the age of 87, John Douglas Tappen of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tappen and Amelia Tappen (McKay); his wife Ola Tappen (Densmore); his son Scott Tappen; and his brother David Tappen.

He is survived by: his son Robert Tappen (Rhonda); his brothers, Fred (Liz) and Keith Tappen; and his grandchildren, Cody, Hanna and Ryan.

All COVID protocols are to be followed.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Iona Presbyterian Church.
