John George touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; and his brother George. He is survived by: his children, John C, Robert and Jennifer (Jeff Murray); his grandchildren, Robert, Liam, Madison and Carsen; his siblings, Peter, Helen and Suzanne; his siblings-in-law, Gwen Watson (John), Helen MacCormac, Gerarda Golding (Bill) and Ronald MacCormac (Penny); and his friend Marc Payette (Armande). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dartmouth Funeral Home (29 Queen St, Dartmouth, NS B2Y1E9). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in his honour to Autism Nova Scotia or to a charity of one's choosing is appreciated.
