He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Keizer and Mary Keizer; his wife Helen; his children, Joey and Patty; his siblings, Mike, Evelyn and Fred; his grandson Jeremy Scott; and his children-in-law, Carol Keizer and Donnie Wheeler.
He is survived by: his children, Theresa McGinnis, Cathy Bell, Danny and Mark (Cynthia); his grandchildren, Brad, Ann Marie, Sandie, Cherie, Stephanie, Jennifer, Daniel, Denis and Noah; and his sisters, Ellana Karn and Eileen Sheldrick. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Atlantic Funeral Home (771 Main St, Dartmouth, NS B2W3T9). A reception was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
