She was predeceased by: her husband Carl; her parents, Grace Viola McKenzie and Cecil Thomas McKenzie; her siblings, Gloria June Dowdell (June Bug), Shirley Doreen Day (Shirsh), Neil Lyle MacKenzie (Chubby), Cecil Dawn McKenzie (Bim), Lloyd Allison McKenzie (Buddy), Beverley James McKenzie (Bev), Lorne Alton McKenzie (Cappy) and Roderick; and her daughter Bonnie.
She is survived by: her children, Bonita Smith (Bonnie) of Osoyoos, BC, Laurie Dawn Smith of Dartmouth and Douglas Smith of Dartmouth; her grandson Christopher Smith (Lisa); her great grandchild Graceyn MacKenzie Smith; her brother Randall Bruce Paul MacKenzie (Diane) of Bedford; her close friend Joan Lydiard; and her cousin Lillian (Mickey). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
