Joyce Helen Tanner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2021, at the age of 89, Joyce Helen Tanner of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Basil Knickle and June Knickle; her husband Maxwell St. Clair Tanner; her sons, Martin (Wendy) and John (Bronwyn); her grandchildren, Jacob, Adam, Robyn and Olivia; and her siblings, Charlotte Williams (Syd) and Ronnie Knickle (Rosalie).
Most recently, during this pandemic, she created and donated over 200 masks to the community for those in need. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, a funeral, by invitation, will be held at the Lutheran Church of Our Saviour, 255 Portland Street, Dartmouth, on Monday, April 5 at 1:00 p. m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joyce's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, Hospice Halifax or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
