She was predeceased by: her husband Hugh; and her siblings, Ross Shortt and Sylvia Dort. She is survived by: her sister Helen Young of Ottawa; her daughters, Christine Dulong (Kevin) and Pauline Verge (Scott); her grandchildren, Marie (Joseph), James (Leslie), Thomas, Veronica and Jammie; and her great grandchild Zander. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the LUNGNSPEI (Lung Association of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island), or to the Colchester East Hants Hospice Society.
