Kathryn Jean Douglas Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Jean Douglas (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 16, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Ettinger and Mildred Ettinger (McFetridge); her husband Harry Douglas; and her siblings, Shirley, William, Albert, Freda and Victor.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Wellman (Fletcher) of Victoria, BC, Jane McClair of Mill Cove, NS, Jim Douglas (Holly) of Selkirk, MB and Lynn Douglas of Dartmouth, NS; her grandchildren, Matt Wellman of Victoria, BC, Kayt Knorr (Trent) of Victoria, BC, Rebekah Melnychenko (Mike) of Aldergrove, BC, Lydia McHale (Devin) of Oshawa, ON, Lily Douglas of Selkirk, MB and Harrison Douglas of Selkirk, MB; her great grandchildren, Linden McHale, Conley McHale and Hudson Knorr; and her sisters-in-law, Minna Ettinger and Elizabeth Ettinger. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family wish to extend their appreciation to the staff at Whitehills Long Term Care Centre for their excellent care of mom - especially during these challenging pandemic times.
