He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Whelan and Nellie Whelan; his siblings, Byron, Don, Rita and Audrey; and his granddaughter Dakota.
He is survived by: his wife Christine; his children, Angela, Bonnie (Quinton) of Sharbou, ON, Anita of West Arichat, NS and Terrance (Tammy); his grandchildren, Ashley, Kelly and Kayla; and his brother Edmund (Joan). He is also survived by his extended family including his in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial Donations can be made to "New home for Floyd Whalen" in Pilley's Island.
