The memory of Kerry DeLorey of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 20, 2025 at the age of 71, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the sacred silence of farewell, Kerry is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Kerry's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin John DeLorey and Janet Louise DeLorey (Hiltz); and his nephew Luke Alexander Dunsworth. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Joyce (Liz); his son Alexander; his siblings, Crystal (David DeGrasse) of Dartmouth and Stephen of Martins River, N. S.; his sister-in-law Carol Joyce (Jim Carscadden) of Paradise-St; and his niece Elizabeth of St. John's, NL. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Home (771 Main St, Dartmouth, NS B2W3T9). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Port Wallis United Church (263 Waverley Rd, Dartmouth, NS B2X2C8).
Donations to Luke's Landing, the helipad at the IWK, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated, and can be arranged through the funeral home.
