“My deepest condolences to Kirklen’s family. Kirklen went to school with my son Mason. They had a great connection growing up. Mason is a childhood cancer survivor and Kirklen, sensing that Mason was small and vulnerable compared to other boys their age, was protective and gentle with him. Kirklen was always on Mason’s birthday party list and when our family moved to Alberta, they would get together when we were home visiting. He will be missed. I pray for his repose and for peace for his family”
