He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edith Sowerby (Gallant) and Harold "Lee" Sowerby; his friend Brian Toole; his wife Holly (Bell); his children, Sarah (Jean-Sebastien Cote), Alison (Dan Rutherford) and Andrew (Kate Sinclair-Sowerby); his grandchildren, Vivian of Dartmouth, Sebastien of Dartmouth and Halifax; and his siblings, Susan Tuck (Bruce), Garry (Lisa Calvi) and Bruce Sowerby. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
