Laura Diane Keeping Obituary
We announce the death of Laura Diane Keeping of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 29, 2026, at the age of 75. Laura will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Sheaves and Pearl Sheaves; her husband Claude Chester Keeping; her parents-in-law, Chester and Maude Keeping; her siblings, Donald, Gerald, Stewart, Glen, Earl Sheaves, Maisie Morris and Florence Sheaves; and her brothers-in-law, Clyde Morris and Cecil Keeping.
She is survived by: her daughters, Andrea AuCoin (René) of Middle Sackville, NS and Claudia Turner (Nigel) of Hammonds Plains, NS; her grandchildren, Hayley, Brady AuCoin, Cole and Caroline Turner; her siblings, Melvin Sheaves (Shirley), Marilyn Lannon (Tom) and Linda Sheaves; and her siblings-in-law, Vera Sheppard (Roger), Janet Dalton (Don), Betty White (Paul), Susan Keeping, Linda Sheaves (Hinks) and David Keeping (Brenda). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Laura's memory may be made to Psoriasis Canada in support of research and advocacy for a disease that affected her husband for much of his life.
