He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Casavechia and Josephine Casavechia; his former wife Myrtle; and his siblings, Rita Palmer, Walter, William and Daniel.

He is survived by: his wife Donis (Prest); his brother John (Margaret); his sisters-in-law, Margaret and Glenna; his daughters, Cathy Bemister (Gary), Jane Bradshaw (Jim) and Patti Casavechia; his stepchildren, Darcy Glawson (Glenda), Denise Owen (Dereck), Kimberley Zinck (Craig) and Krista Gillis (Alan); his son-in-law Clifford Gillis (Judy); his grandchildren, Robert (Vanessa), Mark (Olesya), Diana (Matthew), Steven, Christina, Mitchell (Susan), Rhiannon (Zach), Chelsey (Justin), Kaelin, Bryson, Megan, Shelby, Logan, Blaike, Kirkland and Hunter; and his great grandchildren, Lila, Justin, Joel, Sienna, Claire and Gage. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
