It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon William Rafuse (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on November 2, 2019, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Leon Rafuse and Hulda Mae DeMille of Canard, NS; his wife Charlotte Walker of Sydney; his brothers-in-law, Sheldon Brown and Waldon Kelly; and his son-in-law Gordon Spidle.

He is survived by: his daughters, Judy Spidle, Wilmot, Rebecca Woodworth, Tracy Hird (Rob), Hammonds Plains, Angela Rafuse (Glen), Tracey Rafuse-Freer (Mike) and Colorado; and his siblings, Golda Kelly, Kingsport, Lochlan Rafuse (Elizabeth), Sheffield Mills, Delores Weisner (Eugene), Rose Sim (Ralph), Flora Brown, Ron Rafuse (Sylvia), Woodville, Sandra Nichols (Robert) and Port Williams. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
