He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Lipsett (Gosselin); his son Daniel Tyler Lipsett; his parents, Everett Lipsett and Lola Lipsett (Morris); and his siblings, Leland Lipsett, Clair Lipsett and Evelyn Roy.

He is survived by: his sister Edith Tulle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
