He was predeceased by: his parent Roy Perry; his wife Janet (Sparkes); his son Brian; and his siblings, Helen Shand, Geraldine Blades and Newton Perry.
He is survived by: his parent Lillian Perry (Nickerson); his children, Barbara Kulka (Marshall) of Dartmouth, David Perry of Cambridge and Yvonne Perry of Brampton; his grandchildren, Lesley Torbacioglu, Samantha Hallihan, Derrick Marshall and Marisha Golas; and his great grandchildren, Jakob Hallihan and Evren Torbacioglu. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
To honour his memory, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Lung Association of Nova Scotia, Diabetes Canada, Nova Scotia Lighthouse Preservation Society, or any charity of choice.
