She was predeceased by: her husband Wesley Butch Thorne; her parents, Walter Thomas and Hilda May; her daughter Tina; and her siblings, Wayne, Tommy and Sandra.
She is survived by: her daughters, Laura and Cyndi; and her sister Debbie Hawes. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Dartmouth Memorial Gardens (767 Main St, Dartmouth, NS B2W3T9).
