She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Purcell and Marion Purcell; and her parents-in-law, Gerald and Ivy McGrath. She is survived by: her husband Keith Gale; her children, Darlene (Colin) and Phillip (Wanda); her grandchildren, Tristan, Jenna, Vanna and Ellah; and her siblings, Donna, Marion Lee (Kenny), Barry, Deborah and Wendy (Alonzo). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
