Linda Elaine (DeBaie) Herrington Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda on June 1st, 2026, at the age of 81 years. Linda passed away at her home (Bissett Court) surrounded by love and family.

Linda was born in Debaie's Cove, Nova Scotia, to the late Lawrence DeBaie and Ella (Miller) DeBaie.

Linda was the mother of Brian (Colinda), Lori (predeceased), and Wendell.

Linda enjoyed gardening, fishing, country music, dancing, and spending time socializing with family and friends. Linda was a retired custodian who worked at Queen's Square for over 25 years.

Linda will be remembered and missed by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

Linda is survived by her Sisters: Elva (Donnie), Sandra, Mavis, Marlene, Darlene, Wendy, Rita (Darcy), Deborah, and Judith. Brothers: Roger (Teresa), Mark (Chrisie), Maynard (Tina), and Bradley.

Linda was predeceased by her husband, Eugene Grandy; daughter, Lori; brothers, Raymond, Reginald, John, and Myles. Sisters Phyllis, Nola, Irene, and Brenda.

A special thank you to the staff at Bissett Court for the exceptional care given to Linda during her time there.

An extra special thank you to her loving niece, Michelle Berkman, and her husband Steve Berkman for all the help, love, and support.

May she rest in peace and fly high with all of our angels.
