She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Anthony Freeman of Ottawa; her parents, Roy Ralph Nelson and Lily May Nelson (Falle) of Dartmouth; her sister-in-law Shirley Nelson; her nephew Michael; her niece Lucy; and her son-in-law Andy MacDonald.
She is survived by: her son Sean Flemming (Donna); her grandchildren, Rachel and Daniel Flemming of Halifax; her brother Les Nelson of Ottawa; her stepdaughters, Karen Freeman (Corey Bergstein) of Toronto, Elizabeth Freeman (Michael Solak) of Portland and Maine; and her stepgrandchildren, Ben, Nathan, Callum and Amelie.
A graveside service was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mount Hermon Cemetery (139 NS-322, Dartmouth, NS B3A1V6).
