He is survived by: his wife Karen Crouse; his children, Susan Skinner (Scott Young) and Allen Skinner (Teri); his stepsons, Jeffrey Parks (Lynn) and Graham Parks (Charlotte); his sister Carol McGregor; his grandchildren, Alexander, Joel (Abby), Jordon Haines (Valene) and Meghan Skinner (Jace Organ); and his stepgrandchildren, Jillian Parks (Mark MacKenzie), Jennifer Falkenham (Amber), Liam and Lauren Parks (Matt Drinovz). He is also survived by several nieces, grand nieces and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the South Shore Regional Hospital Foundation, S.H.A.I.D. Tree Animal Shelter or Branch 24, Royal Canadian Legion, Bridgewater.
