She was predeceased by: her parents, Austin MacMichael and Margaret MacMichael (Cole); her son Richard; and her siblings, Anna Bostick (David), Donna Moore and George.
She is survived by: her husband Allen; her daughters, Lorraine Brake, Joanne and Carole McCarthy (Joel); her grandchildren, Marlee and Jake; her brother Ronald (Monica); and her brother-in-law Dale Moore. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
