He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lorne Hartlen and Marie Hartlen (Osborne); his wife Betty Ann (Ginn); his son Lorne Hartlen (Annette); his grandson Tyler Hartlen; and his siblings, Bill Hartlen (Pat), Lorna MacMaster (Alex), Cindy MacDougall (Ian) and Leslie Hartlen (Heather).
