She was predeceased by: her parent Simon J. McKay; her siblings, Marcella Newcombe, Evelyn Harris, Margaret Baker, Viola Jennings, Stephen McKay and Percy McKay; her daughter Dana Lori; and her granddaughter Candace.
She is survived by: her parent Ethel Annie Paul McKay; her children, Frances Mugford, Glace Bay, Corina Dib, Lebanon, Kathy Blackmore, Calgary, Orlando "Buddy" McKay, Middleton Ballard, Edward Ballard and Lake Echo; and her friends, The Twins of South Hampton, Jane Williams of South Hampton and Judy Williams of South Hampton. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
