She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Charlton (Power) and Gerald "Chic" Charlton Marie; her husband Peter Michael Mahoney of Halifax; and her siblings-in-law, Doug Hyland and Betty Charlton.
She is survived by: her children, Anne Marie Mahoney of Calgary, Margaret "Mary" MacDonald (Mahoney) of Maine and Peter Michael Mahoney (Tracy) of Dartmouth; her grandchildren, Sarah (Don), Michael, Christopher, Colin, Jeffrey and Kathryn; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Madeline and Alexander; her siblings, Gerald Charlton, Bernie Charlton, David Charlton and Joyce Hyland; and her sister-in-law Molly Charlton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
