Marie Maude Embrett Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Maude Embrett (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on August 24, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Captain Whitfield Slocum and Winnifred Slocum (Elderkin); her siblings, Floyd, Ray Slocum, Faye (Smith), Louise (Shipley) and Jean Spicer (Spicer); and her husband Max.

She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Gail and Ethel; her children, Kimberly Embrett-Smith (Hugh Smith), Cheryl Embrett (Dan Cox) and Paul Embrett (Margaret); her grandchildren, Corey Smith (Stephanie), Kelsey Smith, Christopher Smith and Scotia Cox; and her great grandchildren, Colin, Keegan, Nathan and Logan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
