She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter McGinnis and Margaret McGinnis (Kelly); her husband Albert Scott; and her siblings, Helen, Hank, William, Walter and Gerald.

She is survived by: her sister-in-law Gwen Vallieres; her children, Alan (Karen Osborne), Stephen (Christine), Philip (Kathleen), Robert (Janice), Michelle Cochrane (Gus), Carol Burk (Greg), Ann, Marie LeBlanc (Leon) and Nancy Lin Scott; her grandchildren, Melanie (Geoffrey Cochrane), Amanda, Nicholas, Conor, Benjamin (Emily Scott), Alec (Ron Scott), Alex (Jillian Burk), Michael (Adam Scott) and Dominic (Thomas LeBlanc); and her great grandchildren, Zachary, Grace Cochrane, Aidan and Catherine Legge. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
