She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Shipman and May Shipman; her sons, Lee and Clare; and her siblings-in-law, Lorne Penfound (Jean) and Ruth Evans (Bob).

She is survived by: her spouse Sim'Penfound; her sons, Mark (Rosalind) and Todd (Line); her grandchildren, Kate Starr (Joe), Will (Dianne) and Magalie (Ryan); and her great grandchildren, Eric and Leo Starr. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
