She was predeceased by: her parent Robert Dryden; her brother James Dryden; and her aunt Annie McAleer. She is survived by: her parent Jessie Dryden (McAleer); her husband Lawrence; her children, Janet Hoyt (Normand), Eon and Terry (Anna); her grandchildren, Greg, Jason, Shoma and Nuala; her brothers, Robert Dryden (Barbara) and John Dryden (Mae); and her siblings-in-law, Nancy Dryden, Rose Muir (Maurice) and Don Hoyt (Sylvia). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer Society of NS, or charity of choice.
