It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Talbot (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 23, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Whelly and Peggy Whelly (O'Neill); her husband Ray Talbot; and her brothers, Jim, John, Emmett, Michael and Peter.

She is survived by: her significant other Don Martell; her children, Kelly (Brian Corbett), Michelle (Gary Purcell), Kathleen (Gabriel Jones) and Dan (Jiwon Kim); her grandchildren, Colin (Joan), Stewart, Julia (Ben), Taylor (Zachary), Keira, Julien, Youngjae and Junoh; and her sisters, Zetta and Clare (John McIntyre).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Halifax, where Mary received exceptionally caring and compassionate end of life care.
