She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Norton; and her siblings, Jim, Frank, Tom, Gerald Covey and Helen Leblanc.

She is survived by: her children, Jackie and Michael (Anne); her grandchildren, Jennifer (Mark), David, Alex (Heather), Heather (Joe) and Beth (Jonathan); her brothers, Vince Covey (Gayle) and Johnny Kane (Liz); her son-in-law David Nobles; and her great grandchild Killian Rossignol. She is also survived by her great grandchildren.
