He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben George and Emma George (Hartling); his former wife Marilyn George (Doty); his stepson Shane O'Leary; and his stepgrandson Davin Moxsom.
He is survived by: his wife Marie George; his brother Glendon George (Betty); his niece Linda George-Wegner (Steffan); his nephew David George (Sherry); his great-nephews, Kurtis George-Wegner and Ian George; his great-niece Kaelin George-Wegner; his daughters, Glenna Gallant and Carolyn George; and his grandchildren, Gerry, Rachael and Tyler. He is also survived by 14 step-grandchildren; and 16 step-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Church of the Holy Spirit (1 Regency Dr, Dartmouth, NS B2Y1Z7).
