He was predeceased by : his parents, James F. Mackintosh and Marion Mackintosh (Hirtle); his former life partner Betty; and his siblings, Russell, Frank, David, Kay Collacutt, Lorraine Hogg and Trudy Mackintosh.

He is survived by : his daughters, Lisa and Michelle; his granddaughter Skylar; and his siblings, Bruce, Robert, Gage (Eileen), Patricia (Alex MacInnis), Mary Morrison and Brenda (Fraser Munro). He is also survived by his family and friends.
