It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Stephen Whalen of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 27, 2020, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Annie (Carpenter) and Donald. He is survived by: his parents, Patricia Hart (Langille) and David Whalen (Valerie); his wife Amy Marriott; his children, Madisyn Leah and Benjamin Michael Whalen of Hammonds; and his siblings, Michelle Barnes (Stacey) and Gary Whalen (Paula). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Langille; brother Trent Hart; niece Carys Whalen and his cousin David White who was like a brother to him. Due to COVID restrictions, there will be no public visitation and a private service for immediate family only will be held on Wednesday December 2nd at 2pm in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth, Rev. Jason Cole officiating.
