With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mora Katherine Patterson of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 6, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Mercer and James Mercer; and her brothers, Sheldon and Robert (Frances). She is survived by: her children, JD and Shelayne (Christian); her niece Gail; her husband Wayne; her child Dartmouth; her grandchildren, Abby, Ella Hanson, JD and Patterson; her brother Ian Mercer (Mary); and her siblings-in-law, Norma Mann (Lyle) and Bruce Patterson (Marlene). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
If you wish, donations can be made to her church, Bethel United Baptist Church on Windmill Rd or to Shubie Park through the Shubenacadie Canal Commission, two places she regularly spent time in over the years, taking away comfort and leaving behind troubles.
