We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2021, at the age of 81, Mora Leighton in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Richaur and Margaret Richaur; her former husband Ronald Ferguson; her husband Donald Leighton; and her siblings, Oliver, Lewis, James, Fred, Kevin, Joseph, Mildred, Helen and Leona.
She is survived by: her sister Sheila MacDonald; her children, Karen (Norm), Gary Ferguson (Gail), Ont, Pennsylvania and Kevin Ferguson (Sheralee); her grandchildren, Rhonda, Najala, Chelsea, Jean, Daniel, Alexander, Ian, Rogan and Maddison; and her great grandchildren, Kaven and Emmy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and in-laws.
In lieu of flowers Mora wishes people donate in her name to an animal association of your choice.
