She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Wournell and Eva Wournell (Mosher). She is survived by: her husband Percy; her children, Krista and Michael (Leanne); her granddaughters, Charlotte and Lyla; her siblings, Donald, Doug (Carrie) and Nancy Hiscock; her pets, Wilson and Rory; and her siblings, Jimmy, Muriel Atwood and Barbara Atwood. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society Atlantic, VON Nova Scotia, or the Dartmouth General Hospital.
