With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma Jean Royale (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 4, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Raftus and Dinah Raftus (Rogers); her husband Harold James; her daughter-in-law Terry; and her siblings, Audrey, Bobby, Gary and Ronnie.

She is survived by: her children, Dianne Lafontaine (Bertrand), Jimmy (Cynthia), David, Shawn and Steven (Cindy); her siblings, Nancy McDonald (Barry) and Donald (Annette); and her grandchildren, Connor, Andre and Sarah.
