She was predeceased by: her parent Gualdino Ribeiro of Pera; her husband Jose Balbino; and her son-in-law Olimpio Martins. She is survived by: her parent Maria Jeronima; and her children, Esmeralda Schagen (Herbert), Hoorn, Netherlands, Liliana Martins, Bedford, Constantino Balbino (Marcia), East Lawrencetown and Victor Balbino (Ruth). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
