He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Walton (Field) and Floyd Walton; his wife Shirley; and his sisters, Norma Martin and Joyce Holden.

He is survived by: his children, Lea Lewis (Greg), Lian Walton (Doreen), Luanne of Ottawa, ON and Ross (Lori); his grandchildren, Michael Lebans (Julie), Samantha Lewis, Kelton Walton and Sarah Walton; his great grandchildren, Charlie Lebans and Lexi Lewis-Flemming; his brother Thane (Doris); and his friends, Carmen Moir, Robert Warren and Googling. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as a wide circle of friends.
