She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Salter and Doris Salter; her husband Bill; her brother Dallas Salter; and her stepson Bill.

She is survived by: her pet Sophie; her children, Janet (Dwayne), Jill and Roger (Sharon); her stepdaughter Nancy (Bill); her grandchildren, Robert, Sarah, Matthew and Patrick; and her sister Sue Cobby. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Patricia's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia, the NS SPCA, and Bide Awhile Animal Shelter.
