He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Madden and Gisella Madden (Kispal). He is survived by: his wife Carol Madden (Gilroy); his children, Colin Madden of Oromocto, NB, Craig Madden of Halifax and Erin Crowell (Don) of Bridgewater; his grandson Kaeden Crowell; his brothers, Stephen Madden (Trickie) of New Waterford and Francis "Frank" Madden (Patricia) of Halifax; his mother-in-law Nellie Gilroy of Leamington; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Chauvin (Greg) of Hatchet Lake, Marilyn Webb (late Ronnie) of Truro and Jeanette (David Miller) of Halifax. He is also survived by his niece, three nephews, and several grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
