She was predeceased by: her husband J. David Murdock; her parents, James Vaughan and Olive Vaughan (Kilcup); and her siblings, Shirley Bowness, Irma Rogers, Avery, Harold, Garth and Ivan Vaughan.

She is survived by: her children, Susan, Ottawa and Catherine Waiand (Marvin); her grandchildren, Andrew (Olga) and Christine (Richard); her great grandchildren, Michael of Calgary, Anna of Calgary, Harrison of Calgary and Bennett of Calgary; and her sisters-in-law, Helena and Lauren Vaughan. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and their children.
