He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lloyd Eugene Barteaux and Dorothy Isabell Clarke; his wife Kathleen Barteaux; his sons, Steven (Lisa) and Shawn Barteaux; his brothers, Wayne and Ronald; and his granddaughters, Julia, Emma and Sophie.
