It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Philip Peter Ripley (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), born in Amherst, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 14, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lawrence and Kathleen Ruth Ripley (Treen); his brother Robert; his parents-in-law, Charles and Mary Butler; and his brothers-in-law, Lee Ritchie, Lloyd Scott and Kevin Hogan.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanette; his son Philip; his granddaughters, Ava Ripley and Grace King; his sisters, Jane Ritchie and Mary Ellen Scott; his siblings-in-law, Sheri Hogan (Danny) and Dennis Butler; and his siblings' children, Tim, John, Alex, Katie, Maggie, Jennifer and Peter.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation or the Mental Health Association.
